that listens, records, answers, questions, decides;

a roulette wheel
that chooses its own number and color

sparse jungle (by Howell & Starcke)
is a live improvised piece
using soprano saxophone/electronics (Starcke)
and
percussion sampling
and
electronic looping arrangement (Howell).
Howell & Starcke
perform live loop-based soundscapes
that maintains a sense of 'trance-portation' on sonic,
introspective, meditative and cinematic levels:
the otherworldly within this world.
Time shifts and overlaps
and
sound engulfs ascending
and
descending through valleys
and
over peaks
while residue of passed events
are left to wander and wonder.
Beauty and chaos fuse and morph
as we pay tribute to Nature and life.
